Trean House – Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast
Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast in Inishowen, Co. Donegal, Ireland.
The Farm
Rolling green farmland surrounds Trean House, stretching gently down to the coast. Suckler cows and sheep are the main enterprises on the 125 acre farm that is managed according to the best environmental practices.
With its neatly stone walled fields, streams, wooded glens and beautiful views over Tremone Bay, guests will find great peace and tranquility here.
There's never a dull moment on the farm, each season brings something different.
Spring
Newborn lambs, snowdrops, daffodils, ploughing, planting vegetables, whins in bloom.
Summer
Silage and hay making, blue skies, sheep and cattle grazing the fields, hedgerows bursting with colour.
Autumn
Harvest time, picking apples, raspberries, gooseberries, making jam, long warm evenings.
Winter
Sheep and cattle take up residence indoors, frosty mornings, spectacular sunsets.
Of course, no trip to Trean House would be complete without meeting Spike, our resident collie. Give him some attention and you might even get a smile!
